Byron Civic Theatre
Join us as we celebrate the joy of Christmas in a small town! Christmas Memories is a heartwarming original play written by local playwright Andrew Mahan featuring musical performances. Christmas Memories is about everyone coming home for the holidays. While families get together at the local diner for hot chocolate, a blizzard hits and traps everyone inside. Villains on Stage
You can't have a show without a bad guy, even if you're not a "bad guy". Be a part of an exciting experience where you get to explore different villains from various theatrical performances. Sit in and get to know the folks we love to hate from your favorite stage experiences. Participants will get a better understanding in character development, interaction and the importance of balanced roles.
Acting and Playwriting
Spend time learning what it takes to put together a story for the stage. This class is aimed at being more of a club for those who are interested in writing and performing their own pieces. Participants will get the opportunity to put pen to paper and bring their imagination to life as they write, share and then are part of performing the group's creative products.
